How to Reconnect the Fuse in the Integrated Power Module for Ignition-Off Draw on Dodge Ram 1500?

The IOD fuse is taken out of the Integrated Power Module fuse cavity # 51 during vehicle assembly and dealers are required to restore its connection to turn on all electrical functions. Before taking out the IOD fuse, turn the ignition to Off and remove the Integrated Power Module cover. Grasp the fuse holder unit's tabs along the outer edge in # 51 fuse cavity using your thumb and forefinger, then firmly pull it out of the main board before replacing the Integrated Power Module cover. When installing, start by putting the ignition in Off and removing the cover from the Integrated Power Module. Squeeze the IOD fuse holder unit into fuse cavity # 51 and insert it all the way into the Integrated Power Module and then secure the cover over all fuse compartments.

How to Replace a Failed Fuse in a Generator Cartridge on Dodge Ram 2500?

Eliminate the generator cartridge fuse only after checking and examining the vehicle's charger. You should start by taking the negative cable off the battery. After that, detach and remove the cover from the Power Distribution Center (PDC). After unscrewing the two fuses from the generator cartridge in the PDC, unplug the generator cartridge fuse as well. For setup, place the cartridge fuse at the B(+) terminal stud bus bars in the PDC, tighten the screws and finish by tightening them to 3.4 Nm (30 in. lbs.). After that, follow the instructions to reattach the battery negative cable and put the PDC cover in place.

When installing, start by putting the ignition in Off and removing the cover from the Integrated Power Module. Squeeze the IOD fuse holder unit into fuse cavity # 51 and insert it all the way into the Integrated Power Module and then secure the cover over all fuse compartments.
