The front crankshaft seal can be removed by first unhooking the negative cable from the battery. After that, hoist the vehicle and take off the right wheel together with the inner splash shield. After that, take out the accessory
Drive Belt and remove the crankshaft damper. Set Special Tool 6341A on the edge of the crankshaft and use it to screw in the seal, so it engages securely, taking care not to harm the crankshaft seal surface on the cover. When all is done, turn the forcing screw slowly until the seal slides out of the cover.
