For starters, look at every O-ring seal around the
Fuel Injectors and swap any O-ring that appears damaged. Coat every invisor O-ring with lighter engine oil and then fit the fuel injectors back into the cylinders marked during disassembly. Secure the fuel rail, insert each injector, add the retaining clips and confirm that every injector is like this. Place a thin layer of clean engine oil on the O-ring of every injector and set the injector nozzles into the openings in the lower
Intake Manifold. Put in the fuel rail bolts and tighten them so they read 12 Nm (106 in. lbs.) when you check them. Attach the fuel injector electrical harness connectors to the right places and make the connections. Connect the intake manifold (4) and be sure to attach the fuel line connector correctly so no fuel can leak and ignite on your motor. Fit the quick connect fuel hose (1) into the fuel rail (2) and put the clean air hose on the
Throttle Body. Next, hook up the ultra-sonic cable and tighten the nut to 5 Nm (45 in. lbs.), then use ASD Fuel System Test with the scan tool to put pressure on the fuel system and look for leaks.
