The first thing to do before servicing the rear engine mount is to get the vehicle up on a hoist and support the transaxle with a jack. Unfasten the isolator nuts connecting the mount to the transaxle mount bracket and then take off the bolts holding the rear mount isolator to the crossmember before you take the mount out. Put the isolator at the location on the crossmember, hold it in place and attach it using the bolts, turning them to 33 Nm (250 in. lbs.). Set the transaxle onto the isolator, add the isolator nuts and tighten them to 45 ft. lbs. (61 Nm). The last step is to get the vehicle lowered.
