The first part of changing the heated driver seat switch is to disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable remote terminal from the remote battery post. Take off the side shield next to the seat cushion you are using. On the bottom of the switch, move it back and forth a bit to help it come out of its place on the car, then cut off the heated seat wire connector and pull the switch out of the car. To attach the heated seat, connect the wiring, push down the switch into its opening and put the shield back on the seat cushion. After that, attach the negative battery cable of the remote back to the car.
