How to Maintain and Fix an Antenna Cable on Dodge Intrepid?

Start by opening the hood and disconnecting the negative battery cable remote terminal from the remote battery post to do any antenna cable repairs. After that, remove the liner from beside the passenger side trunk and disconnect the antenna lead from the base inside the mast. Pull out the antenna mast by screwing it loose from the antenna body and then undo the screw on the mount bracket. Slide the entire antenna through the rubber hole in the vehicle. Stick the cable end of the antenna into the rubber hole in the quarter panel and pin the screw onto the bracket. Once that's done, attach the antenna mast to the body again and connect the antenna lead to the base. At the end, replace the passenger side trunk liner and link the negative terminal of your battery to the remote post on the battery.
