Dodge Intrepid Transmitter Parts and Q&A

  • Q: How is the Transmitter Programmed for Remote Keyless Entry on Dodge Intrepid?
    A:
Either the DRB III scan tool or the customer can program the Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) Transmitter. The DRB III scan tool should be used to program the transmitter, according to the body diagnostic procedures. To add new customer programmed transmitters, at least one transmitter must be programmed in advance; with every transmitter missing, you will need the DRB III scan tool to program replacements. To program the fob, press and hold the unlock button of the programmed fob for at least 4 seconds and up to 10 seconds, making sure the ignition is also switched on, then hit the panic button on the fob at any time within the same range. When both buttons are pressed, the BCM will sound and then any button on every fob needs to be pressed, with a chime for each one that is added. If program mode isn't needed, turn off your ignition at any time or wait 32 seconds for the BCM to chime again and restore normal operations.
