  Before servicing the power steering fluid cooler, remove and isolate the negative Battery Cable from the post. Remove the power steering fluid from the pump reservoir and then lift and prop up the vehicle. Take out the belly pan, then remove the hose clamp to free the return hose from the steering gear at the cooler. After that, undo and remove the hose clamp attached to the return hose and reservoir at the cooler. Using your hands, push in the cooler mounting clip tabs and lift the cooler from the module's clips. Set the cooler onto the clips fixed to the cooling module and push until the retaining tabs click in place. Pull the return hose from the reservoir and attach it to the far left side of the cooler, holding it there with a clamp. After that, put the return hose from the gear to the right end of the cooler and make sure to clamp it in place. Replace the belly pan, bring down the vehicle and link the negative battery cable to the battery. The last step is to fill the pump reservoir and run the initial operation procedure.

  The first part of servicing the power steering fluid cooler is to set it on the mounting clips on the cooling module and lock it in by pushing past the tab that holds them in place. Positon the paint stripe that appears on the return hose (3) at the top during mounting on the cooler so the hoses are properly connected. After that, slide half of the return hose (3) toward the reservoir and connect it to the left corner of the cooler (2), holding it firmly in place with a clamp. After that, direct the return hose from the gear (1) across to the right part of the cooler (2) and connect it with a clamp to secure it. Next, put in the belly pan, lower the vehicle and link the battery's negative cable (2) to the battery post, confirming you have done it correctly. Lastly, bleed and fill the power steering system.
