When checking or repairing the blower motor resistor, move away from the hot motor and resistor and never attempt to operate the fan while the resistor is apart. Unfasten the windshield wipers and the cowl top screen before you start anything else. After that, take out the resistor block wire harness connector and pull the resistor block from the vehicle. When finishing installation, put the blower motor resistor block back in the cowl and plug in the wire harness connector. After that, reattach the top screen for the vehicle and the windshield wipers and link the cable going from the battery negative terminal.
