Before working on the left shock absorber, turn off the battery (3) and remove it. After unclipping the power center, slide it to one side and pull out the battery tray (1). After that, get rid of the four upper shock mounting nuts, lift and support your vehicle and remove the left tire and wheel assembly. Remove the caliper and make sure to support it after that.
