Peel back the mechanism covers from the metal tabs beneath them and then remove the glass screws. Take off the glass panel from the vehicle after you lift it up. During installation, guide the glass panel onto the lift arms in the mechanism, so that its retaining tabs are placed on the inside of the guide mechanism arms. Connect the screws and check it with a 12v power supply. Have the glass of the sunroof fit flush along the roofline and tighten all the bolts to 3.5 N.m (30 in. lb.) After that, set the mechanism covers between the glass tabs and over the rail locator holes, making sure they are fully seated. Then start the sunroof to make sure all is working and lined up correctly.
