During rear wheel antilock system service and repair, if the CAB is changed, program both the rear axle type and tire revolutions per mile into the new CAB, using information from Transmission and Drivetrain, Differential and Steering and Suspension, Tires, Wheels and Alignment respectively. Start by getting rid of the mounting screws that hold the water storage tank in place, separate the pump motor from the tank and pump hose and remove the tank from the engine compartment. First, remove the battery by cutting the battery cables and then remove the power distribution center with its mount. After that, remove the RWAL valve harness, push the lock release button on the CAB harness and pull the connector off from the controller. With the controller mounting screws off, place the new controller onto the mounting bracket and install the mounting screws. Connect the CAB harness into the controller and snap the lock and next, attach the RWAL valve harness to the controller. Attach and release the battery and power distribution center mount, then slip the power distribution center in place with the battery and its wires. Place the reservoir into the engine compartment, fix the pump motor connector and pump hose and hold the reservoir in place with the mounting screws.
