First, remove the left turn signal housing and then take out the extension panel underneath its opening. First, separate the horn connector and take out the access cover, afterwards remove the screws that hold the washer reservoir in place. To pull the pump motor connector and hose, first raise the reservoir outside of the engine compartment. Divide the engine compartment tasks by unplugging the wire between the pressure differential switch and the combination valve and detaching the brake lines from the switch side of the valve. Pull the other two brake lines out of the valve using the opening in the access cover and then take away the mounting bolt before sliding the valve back out through the same gap. Install the valve on top of the mounting bracket then tighten the mounting bolt to 24 Nm (18 ft. lbs.). Put in all the brake lines and attach them to hold them in place with 13 Nm (115 inch lbs.) of torque; then, set the reservoir in the compartment, attach the motor/hose connector and complete by connecting the hose to the reservoir. Put back the washer reservoir mounting screws, link the horn connector and put the access cover into place. After that, place the extension panel and the left turn signal cover in position and bleed the base brake system.
