To work on the vacuum brake booster, get started by removing the vacuum hoses from the booster check valve and then removing the master cylinder. Access the brake pedal in your vehicle by taking off the steering column lower cover and the knee blocker. Get rid of the clip on the booster push rod by the brake pedal first, then remove the mounting nuts. Pull out the booster and remove the booster dash seal as well. Stick the seal on the booster and put it on the dashboard, attaching it with the booster mounting nuts tightened to 18 Nm (13 ft. lbs.). Slide the push rod across to the brake pedal pin, then use a retaining clip to keep it in place. Place the knee blocker and lower column cover in their spots and next put the master cylinder in place. Attach the booster vacuum hose in the end and finish filling the brake system by bleeding it.
