How to remove and replace the glove box on Dodge Ram 1500 Van?

First put the negative battery cable aside and remove it from the battery, then wait for two minutes before working on the glove box. Go to the glove box and identify the two small rubber stop bumpers each on the side of the instrument panel glove box. After closing both sides of the glove box bin inward, move the integral stops past the rubber bumper then roll the glove box down until the stops are clear and release the bin. After rolling down the glove box, remove the three holding screws from the instrument panel glove box reinforcement and pull out the glove box. To mount the glove box, secure the hinge at the point where it slides into the reinforcement, replace and tighten the three screws to 3 N.m (30 in. lbs.). After that, roll the glove box up again in the panel and connect the battery negative cable back.
