Lift and support the vehicle and, once it's done, loosen the adjusting nut to slacken the front cable. Lift the front cable out of the cable connector and release the cable housing by squeezing the tabs at the bracket under the vehicle. Lower the car and gently push the end of the cable which is attached to the ball, out of the clevis in the pedal. Now, depress the tabs on the cable housing in the pedal bracket and push the cable out. After that, lift the left cowl trim and take away the sill plate too. Life up the carpet and pull the cable out of the body clip. Take out the cable and the body grommet together. First, set the cable housing retainer into the opening in the pedal assembly from within the car and make sure it is correct. Attach the cable ball end to the clevis on the pedal assembly, pull the cable along the top edge of the wheel well and attach the end. Push the wire through the hole in the floor pan, add the body grommet, cover it over with carpets and set back the left cowl trim and sill plate. Route the cable under the vehicle, squash down the cable housing retainer until its legs touch the inside of the bracket and then raise and support the vehicle again. Before slowly letting down the car, join the cable to the cable connector and conduct the park brake adjustment procedure.
