Before working on the power mirror switch, take time to disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable. To remove the control knob, simply pull it from the power mirror switch stem in the backward direction. After that, remove the nut holding the power mirror switch to the front door trim on the driver side and pull out the door trim panel from the inside. To get the power mirror switch wire harness out, first undo the panel that covers the door inner panel and unplug the connector from the backside of the trim. After that, connect the power mirror switch to the harness connector in the door trim panel. Replace the trim panel at the driver side door and bolt the power mirror switch to it. After that, press the control knob down on the power mirror switch and reattach the negative cable to the battery terminal.
