To take care of the front center seat belt, look at all parts, like seat belts, buckles, screws, retractors, tether straps and anchors to see if they are installed correctly and working well, bring a replacement if you observe cut, frayed or torn seat belts, fix twisted belts, tighten loose fasteners and change any worn, broken buckles, retractors, latch plates or anchors. To remove, open the lower anchor latch plate situated in the front center seat by getting on the floor between the seat and the back, then use a key or screwdriver to press the front anchor buckle's release button. Adjust the front seat so it is easy to reach, remove the tray in the rear floor and push up slightly the seat belt bezel at the front center using a trim stick. Pull out the bezel from the seat belt, remove the black band trim from the cab back panel and take out the two screws that join the belt bracket to the upper cab back panel reinforcement. Unfasten the two screws under the front center seat belt retractor bracket and remove the seat belt and retractor. Set the front center seat belt and retractor unit on the floor panel at the back of the cab, then attach the screws in the retractor bracket until they reach 40 N.m/29 ft. lbs. Line the belt bracket up with the body bracket and hold it in place using 20 N.m (15 ft. lbs.) of pressure. Insert the trim once again on the cab back panel, feed the webbing through the bezel and press the bezel until it snaps in position. In the end, add the rear storage shelf and connect the lower anchor latch plate of the front center seat belt to the anchor buckle.
