Unscrew the three screws holding the module's mounting bracket to the welded mount and remove the module. Position the side with the arrow forward before mounting the module; only after that install and tighten the three screws to 11.8 Nm (105 in. lbs). Push the connector onto the instrument panel harness and make sure both the latch and red CPA are fully together. To remove the soft foam remnants, wipe down the floor panel with isopropyl alcohol and then place a new ACM cover over the module, press it from the center and peel away the release paper. Do not connect up the air bag negative cable until you have completed the verification test for the air bag system after any servicing.
