Before you service the rear brake disc, first lift the vehicle, then take off the tire and wheel. Then, separate the disc brake caliper and get rid of the bolts in the caliper adapter. Once that's done, disconnect the retaining clips and disc assembly. Place the disc first on the axle shaft and then add the caliper adapter. Make sure the caliper adapter bolts are secure and tightened to 135 Nm (100 ft. lbs.), before you attach the disc brake caliper again. After that, reinstall the tire onto the wheel and lower the vehicle.
