The duty cycle purge valve is supported by a bracket in the left-inner wheelhouse (fender) and is usually found on vehicles containing a Leak Detection Pump (LDP), although for vehicles not using an LDP, the placement and bracket may differ. First, detach the electrical wire and the vacuum hose from the valve, then remove it from its support holder to detach the valve. To install the valve, fix it back to the support bracket, reattach the vacuum harness and connect the wiring connector.
