Because of the extra bridge and claws on the driver's wiper blade, these two types cannot be changed; the passenger wiper blade has only six pairs of claws instead. When installing, remember that both wiper elements have the notched part toward the end of the blade that's closest to the pivot. Turn the wiper control knob on, then move the wiper blades to a convenient position as you turn the ignition switch on and off again. Holding the wiper arm up, replace the latch tab under its tip and move the blade toward the pivot to free the pivot block from the arm hook. Before you remove the hook formation, place the hook side of the wiper arm onto the opening of the wiper blade superstructure ahead of the pivot block/latch unit to keep the wiper arm from shooting back and damaging the glass. Delicately move the wiper arm tip down to the glass. For installation, raise the wiper arm from the windshield, take the wiper blade to the hook formation with the notch slotted towards the wiper pivot and push the hook through the blade superstructure until you feel it click into place. Push the wiper blade pivot block/latch up into the hook shape until you hear the latch release snap into place and lower the wiper blade safely onto the windshield.
