How to Service a Transmission Mount on Dodge Ram 3500?

Lift the car using a hoist and afterwards put the transmission jack in the car. Take out the cargo bolts and prop up the rear of the transmission with something. After that, get rid of the bolts keeping the support cushion to the transmission support bracket and remove the support cushion. If required, take out the bolts that link the support bracket to the transmission and engine. When installing, if the transmission support bracket was removed, make sure it is back in place, fasten the bolts with a torque of 102 Nm (75 ft. lbs.) and check them again. After that, fit the support cushion over the transmission support bracket, add the stud nuts and secure them to a torque of 47 Nm (35 ft. lbs.). Raise the transmission and support cushion into position on the crossmember with the transmission jack, fit the cushion bolts and tighten them to 47 Nm (35 ft. lbs.) torque. Furthermore, get rid of the transmission jack and bring the car down.
