How to service and repair the rear cargo door lock cylinder on Dodge Ram 3500 Van?

To work on or repair the rear cargo door lock cylinder, first take off the trim panel. After that, separate the lock cylinder latch rod from the door latch. Cut the clip holding the lock cylinder and remove it from the door. Separate the lock cylinder latch rod from the first lock cylinder and join it with the replacement lock cylinder. Start by putting the gasket in place and then place the lock cylinder into the door opening. Then put the clip over the lock cylinder. Hook the latch rod from the lock cylinder to the door latch, try the door lock cylinder and lastly, reattach the door trim panel.
