On the front of the throttle body is where you'll find the MAP sensor and it's attached with an L-shaped rubber connection. Before removing the sensor, take off the engine cover and air cleaner assembly and afterwards disconnect its electrical connector. After that, unscrew the two bolts holding the MAP sensor and pull the vacuum rubber L-shaped fitting from the throttle body when you remove the sensor. Pull out the rubber fitting that is attached to the MAP sensor. During installation, put the rubber L-shaped attachment on the MAP sensor and make sure the sensor is over the throttle body, with the fitting covering the vacuum nipple on the throttle body. Attach the MAP sensor to the mounting bolts and tighten them by hand to 3 Nm or 25 in. lbs. After that, reinstall the electrical connector, then the air cleaner and engine cover.
