How to remove and install the Vapor Canister and bracket assembly on Dodge Ram 3500 Van?

One EVAP canister is mounted onto a bracket that connects to a box for the second on the left side behind the driver's door well. Unscrew the two bolts holding the canister/bracket assembly to the body, carefully lower the assembly, then detach the fuel lines/tubes from all the EVAP canisters and keep note of their connections for easy installation later. The following step is to take out the canister mounting nuts. To put in the canisters, attach each to its stand and tighten the nuts to 8 Nm (71 in. lbs.). After that, fit the fuel tubes/ lines to the canister again, then position every assembly so that the ears on the upper part of the clamp are in the notches on the body. After that, connect the 2 bracket bolts and tighten with torque of 10 Nm (95 in. lbs.).
