  For vehicles with neither VTSS nor a Anti-Theft Security System (ATSS), first separate and isolate the battery negative wire, then let the air bag system capacitor drain for two minutes to stop accidental deployment. Start by rolling the glove box back from the instrument panel and reach through the opening to find the intermittent wipe module. Make sure the module is easy to reach and pull its handle toward the front of the vehicle to release it from the bracket. Place the module into the glove box and separate the instrument panel wire harness from its receptacle, then take the module out of the opening. Set the new intermittent wipe module into the glove box opening and hook up the wire harness again. Fit the module's housing slot onto the tab of the mounting bracket. Now, pull the module backward until you hear it lock into its spot. Wrap up the glove box, then link the negative battery cable back.
