At home it is easy to install a new Jeep A/C Idler Pulley. Pull up to the first level ground, restart the engine, and disconnect the battery. Draw the belt line or take a picture, and unstrain the belt using tensioner arm and remove the belt off the pulley. Unscrew the center bolt, and slide the old pulley off, clean the mounting pad, and examine the spacer to see if it is worn. Install the new pulley, apply a dab of threadlocker and tighten the bolt to factory specifications, repeat the steps to reroute the belt as indicated, re-attach the battery, and engage the starter while listening to hear no trouble and your Jeep is now blowing cold air on every trail.
