Due to the airflow system, it is important that the fan shroud is sturdily joined together and fixed using the screws, so the lower and upper part of the shroud do not separate. There should be at least 25 mm (1.0 inches) space between the fan tips and the fan shroud. Fill the system with coolant, clip back the negative battery cable, crank the engine and check there are no leaks as it heats up.
