You should begin the service by removing and isolating the negative cable connected to the battery. Take out the screws that connect the door trim panel and the interior panel and then use a suitable flat tool to lift the rear door trim panel from around the door perimeter, working from the bottom. Pull the trim from the rear door upward. Disconnect the top section of the
Weather Strip from the inner belt as you do this. Push the trim panel enough aside to get to the lock linkage rods and the inside door latch release at the back of the door remote controls. Take the plastic retainer clips off the bottom of the latch release and lock linkage rods and withdraw the rod ends from the inside door remote controls. Remove the wire harness connector from the rear door power window switch, then pull off the rear door's trim panel. Remove the rear door power window switch by slipping a thin-bladed screwdriver into the clips on each edge of the power window receptacle and pulling the switch away from the rear door trim panel. Unlike removal, you must now place both detention retainers fully into the backside of the trim panel which secures the switch in place once the plate is attached.
