Before setting in place the booster, replace the sealing gasket on the mounting studs. Slide both the push rod and studs through the dash panel to install the power brake booster. On the underside of the instrument panel, add and tighten the four power brake booster mounting nuts in order following 23 Nm (17 ft. lbs.) of torque. Apply Mopar(R) Lubriplate or another oil produced for this purpose, to the connecting point between the brake pedal pin and the brake booster rod. Anchor the power brake booster push rod to the side pin located on your brake pedal and use a new retaining clip. Secure and adjust the stop lamp switch in the part of the car where the brake pedal is located. Once open, install the steering column opening cover reinforcement at the opening and fix it using screws. If your car has an air bag, cover the steering column opening and install the air bag, as needed. When you connect the vacuum hose to the vacuum check valve, try to avoid having it touch places that may damage it. Attach the vacuum hose to the check valve where it is located. Fit the master cylinder. Attach the black battery negative cable to the post marked negative on the battery. If needed, bleed your brake system before starting the vehicle to have a secure feel to your brake pedal. Make sure the brakes are proper working by road testing the vehicle.
