Set the heater core (6) into the left side of the air distribution housing (5) while being careful. In RHD models, fit the air distribution housing (5) to the HVAC housing (9). Fasten the heater core tubes (8) with the retaining bracket (4) and screw (3) so that you tighten the screw to 1.2 Nm (10 in. lbs.). After that, put the flange (2) over the heater core tubes and connect it to the front of the HVAC housing, then secure it with screw (10) and tighten to 1.2 Nm (10 in. lbs.). When the foam seal on the flange is leaning or damaged, you need to replace it. First, put the foam seal (1) onto the flange, then install the left side front floor duct. If you are swapping out the heater core, it's necessary to flush the entire cooling system. After that, put in the HVAC housing assembly.
