Feed the end of your punch into the door check retaining pin hole in the bracket and press down to release the pin. After securing the suspension, take out the nuts and remove the check from the access opening inside the door panel. First, put the door check on the door through the opening and add the nuts, making sure to tighten them to 10 N.m (7 ft.lbs) torque. After that, set the holes in the door check in line with the bracket and use the retaining pin to connect them.
