How to remove and install a shift knob from the shift lever assembly in automatic transmission on Jeep Wrangler?

Use a trim tool to separate the retaining ring from the bottom of the shift knob, then remove the shift knob from the shill lever assembly, and finally, installation is the reverse of removal.
