Before you install the axle shaft, tighten all of the loose bearing flange studs to 27 Nm (20 ft. lbs.). Tap the axle shaft into the axle bearing and the axle flange first. Pass the O-ring through the backing plate and put the axle through so that the bearing is visible. Install O-ring at both ends of the axle and push the axle into the axle tube. Put speed sensors on the axle tube flange and after that, coat a new axle flange plug with Mopar(R) Stud N' Bearing Mount Adhesive before using a freeze plug installer to put it in place.
