Your first step is to remove the upper suspension arm from the axle when servicing and repairing the control arm bushing. For a 4x2 vehicle, place Spacer 8279 over the axle bushing on the right side and for the right side of a 4x4 vehicle do the same. Press Receiver 7932-1 onto the flanged side of the bushing and at the same time insert the smaller end of Remover/Install 7932-2 against the other side of the bushing. Slider bolt 7604 should be put through the remover, bushing and receiver and after that Long Nut 7603 goes in next and is tightened to push the bushing out of the axle bracket. If you are putting in the bushing, leave Spacer 8279 where it is after removing the nut, bolt, receiver, remover and bushing from a 4x2 and the right side of a 4x4. For installation, fit the Receiver 7932-1 at the opposite end of the axle bracket, put the bushing against the bracket with its large end and use the Remover/Install 7932-2 tool against the bushing. Install bolt 7604 where it goes through the receiver, bushing and installer, followed by Long Nut 7603 which you then tighten to place the bushing into the axle bracket. After that, take off the tools and insert the upper suspension arm back into place.
