To work on the front door striker and maybe make repairs, you simply unscrew it from the b-pillar. Subsequently, disconnect the striker and spacer from the b-pillar. To install the striker and spacer on the b-pillar, install the screws fastening the striker to the b-pillar and tighten the screws to 28 N.m (21 ft. lbs.).
