The EVAP canister sits under the car, behind the plastic splash shield over the left/rear tire and the ESIM switch is attached to it. Raise and support the car, then remove any gunk or rubbish from the canister vacuum's lines. Then, first extract the electrical connector from the ESIM switch and afterward unplug the rubber hose. Unhook the quick-connect attachment at the EVAP canister tube and get the nut/bolt off the front of the EVAP bracket. To take out the canister, pull it right out until you can see that the pins have passed through the bracket.
