Read all warnings and cautions, then open a window to prevent the cabin from getting overpressurized. A sealed shut door could cause leaks before the urethane has completely cured. When possible, keep paints and urethane at a safe distance from trimmed and painted surfaces. Lift out any old urethane on the windshield fence and ensure clean support spacers are put in place on the weld studs or repair screws below. Center the windshield in the opening against the support spacers, mark the areas where it meets them and then remove it again. Set the windshield upside down on a work surface with 10-cm square, 50-cm long blocks of padded wood 75 cm apart. Wipe the windshield inside with Mopar(R) Glass Cleaner and a cloth without lint, then spray clear glass primer 25 mm from the edge and wipe with another clean, lint-free cloth. After, add black-out primer across the top and on both sides and around the bottom, letting it dry for at least three minutes. Place spacers inside the windshield opening at the edges and, using the dot, make sure the upper molding is centered where the tick mark is on the glass. Go around the windshield using a 10 mm bead of urethane in the moldings and on the bottom and this time add two beads along the lowest edge. After that, add a coat of fence primer to the windshield opening, giving it at least 18 minutes to dry. Collectively position the windshield in place with assistance and match up the marks from the sticker at the windshield's bottom to the bottom spacers. Then take your time to slowly place the windshield onto the opening fence while encouraging the top molding to the fencing around the roof. Clean off any urethane that leaks on the vehicle using Mopar(R) Super Clean or a similar item. Secure the molding and clips to the A-pillar and then put the push pin. With the cowl grille in place and the clips locked into the windshield, pass the four push pins through the grille into both the hood and the body of the car. Fit in the
Wiper Arms and the inside rear view mirror as the last step. When the urethane is firm, spray water on the repair area to make sure it holds together.
