    Start by finding out if the problem is really the rear brake pads if you notice a howling or moaning sound when using your car in reverse. Pull back the caliper piston all the way into the bore to allow room for the caliper to fit correctly on the Steering Knuckle. Make sure that the audible wear indicator is on the inboard side and fit it at the lowest position on the brake pad. After that, line up the outer brake pad on the caliper and seat the retaining clip in the two depressed sections that are surrounding the raised retaining bead on the caliper. Clip the inboard brake pad into the abutment shims on the disc Brake Caliper adapter bracket and be sure to not damage the guide pin boot when mounting the caliper onto it. Drop the caliper down by turning it counterclockwise over the rotor and adapter until it seats firmly on the caliper adapter and then insert the caliper guide bolt, setting its torque to 43 Nm (32 ft. lbs.).
