  Place the tube inside the travel cover, then attach the other end of the filler tube to the neck of the fuel tank and tighten with 2.8 Nm (24 in. lbs.). Then, fit the mounting screw for the fuel filler tube, set the torque to 9 Nm (79.5 in. lbs.) and link the vent line for the fuel filler tube. After that, fix the inner splash shield and rear tire and then bring the vehicle down onto the ground. Once you've lowered the vehicle, secure the fuel filler tube cap, attach the negative Battery Cable and finish by installing the lid and hose on the air cleaner.

Remove the screw holding the filler tube mounting and remove the whole fuel filler tube assembly.
