How to Service and Repair a Front Door Hinge on Jeep Wrangler?

Ensure there is a body sealant on hand for use before you remove or relocate the front door hinges. The initial step is to get rid of the door. Once that is done, mark the location for the body hinge with a grease pencil and take out bolts 2 and 3. Similarly, note the place for the door hinge and unscrew bolts 1 and 4.

How to Install a Rear Full Door Hinge on Jeep Wrangler?

When you remove or move the rear full door hinges, use a suitable body sealant on them. Install the door hinges 2 and 3 first and then place and bolt bolts 1 and 4. Put the door back in place, aligning it with the dots made earlier and tighten the bolts until they read 26 Nm (19 ft. lbs.). After that, add the body hinges 1 and 4 and connect the bolts 2 and 3. Set these new hinges next to the carcass so the marks line up, then fasten the bolts to a torque of 28 Nm (21 ft. lbs.). After that, attach door 2 to the rail system.
