The Ram Key Fob is a handheld remote that operates wirelessly with your truck and allows you to lock, unlock, start, and secure your vehicle. To pair a new Key Fob correctly, take apart the remote, insert a new coin cell, and keep it near the steering wheel. Get in your Ram and put the metal key in the ignition. Cycle the key from the off to the run position four times within ten seconds. Do this until the locks click. Press lock once on the Key Fob, press unlock, and the truck chirps confirming the handshake. Press and hold lock or unlock. Repeat for any spare, turn off the Ram, and test every button, making sure remote start spins the engine and the panic alarm screams on cue.
