How to Service the A/C Switch Control Assembly on 2000 Chrysler LHS?

In order to service the control assembly, remove the negative battery cable by opening the hood. Take off the instrument panel trim and unscrew the electrical connectors, remove the ash receiver assembly when necessary. Take the six screws out of the heater-a/c control head, take it off, and follow the steps in the reverse order to install it.
