How to Replace the ABS Control Module on 2000 Dodge Grand Caravan?

When switching either the Hydraulic Control Unit (HCU) or Controller Antilock Brake (CAB) on this vehicle, remove the Integrated Control Unit (ICU) from the car first, as the CAB needs to leave the HCU outside. Unplug the pump/motor wiring harness from the CAB, to start and then remove the 4 bolts that hold the CAB to the HCU. When installing, set the CAB over the HCU and attach it by screwing in the 4 bolts, each to a torque of 2 Nm (17 inch lbs.). Link the pump/motor wiring harness back to the CAB and position the ICU in its starting place in the vehicle. Bleed the hydraulic pipes for the base and ABS system after installation, then go on a short road trip to check that the brakes and ABS work correctly.
