It's required when the evaporator, air inlet duct, heater core or heating and air conditioning system are not working properly. Begin by removing the foam at the evaporator line connection and the air outlets from the dash panel to separate the lower HVAC housing. After that, remove the fin sensing probe from the harness and detach the upper to lower case retaining clip and screws. Once you're done, open the case and remove the evaporator from the module. To put it back together, take the reverse steps from earlier.
