How to Maintain a Washer Pump on 2000 Dodge Neon?

For your windshield washer system, start by hoisting your vehicle, remove the wire connector at the reservoir, cut off the washer hose at the pump and then take out the reservoir fluid. Lift the pump slightly and very carefully detach it from the reservoir and its grommet. For a reservoir replacement, keep the old rubber grommet and for a full replacement, including pump, discard the old washer pump grommet. When you install, work backward from how you removed it and include a brand-new grommet when fitting the washer pump.
