How to Safely Detach a Tachometer on 2000 Dodge Viper?

To remove a tachometer, remove the instrument panel bezel and disconnect corresponding wire connectors. Remove the knee blockers, headlamp switch knob and steering column shroud. Then, remove the instrument panel bezel and meter mounting screws, then the meter and wire connector. Do the reverse for installation.
