How to Effectively Service and Repair an Antenna on 2000 Jeep Cherokee?

To service the antenna, disconnect the battery negative cable and remove the right front fender inner splash shield. Unplug the antenna co-axial cable, unscrew the antenna mast and remove the antenna body. To install, reverse the procedure, tightening the antenna cap nut to 6.2 Nm and the mast to 3.3 Nm.
