How to Service a Blower Motor Resistor on 2000 Jeep Cherokee?

In order to service the blower motor resistor, remove the kick cover, unlock the wire harness connector, remove the battery negative wire, and removing the kick cover. Disconnect the connector, and delete the screws which fastened the resistor. Repeat the steps and screw the new resistor by tightly screwing the screws to 2.2 Nm (20 in lbs).
